Dena Lawrence is the Illinois MyCreditsTransfer Coordinator, a state-funded initiative to strengthen and improve transfer in Illinois. Dena earned an Ed.M. in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Earlier in her educational experience Dena was a transfer student. A proud alumna of Parkland College, Dena completed an Associate degree before transferring to Eastern Illinois University where she earned a Bachelor degree. Dena has 20 years of professional experience in higher education from among 3 states. Dena presents regionally and nationally on a variety of transfer topics.
