Assistant Vice President, University of Baltimore
Seth Marc Kamen is currently the Assistant Vice President at the University of Baltimore, with responsibility for the transfer student experience. During his more than 20 years in higher education, he has held leadership positions in undergraduate admissions, transfer articulation and community college relations, military student engagement, prior learning assessment, and curriculum development. With a special focus on transfer, he often presents for multiple national organizations, including AACRAO, NISTS, CollegeBoard and CollegeSource. Additionally, he coordinated the AACRAO workgroups that published A Guide to Best Practices: Awarding Transfer and Prior Learning Credit, the Transfer Student and Transfer Institution Bill of Rights, and the Guide to Best Practices: Articulation Agreements. Seth earned his M.B.A from the University of Maryland University College (now UMGC), and his B.S. in Sociology from the University of Maryland College Park. In the summer of 2021, he hopes to begin his doctorial coursework.
